I offer customizable workshops to groups, organizations and schools.

 

I am passionate about collaboration, and encouraging people to think differently. I have developed and facilitated many workshops and talks focused on various mental health and wellness topics.

You can expect my workshops to be dynamic, engaging and informative. It’s important to me that people don’t feel' ‘talked at,’ so I always encourage lively (and contained) participation and discussion.

My hope is to provide the opportunity for participants to authentically connect with one another, and learn effective strategies that promote growth and wellness.

Mindfulness

Feeling like you’re just going through the motions? You could probably use some more mindfulness in your life. Mindfulness is a powerful tool that can help to reduce worry, respond more effectively to stress, find stillness, and be present. Learn about the origins and benefits of mindfulness in this workshop, including the many ways of incorporating mindfulness into your busy lifestyle.

Communication

Don’t know what to say or how to say it? This workshop focuses on increasing communication skills by addressing the barriers that often cause communication break-downs, and teaches effective communication skills in concrete steps. Customizable to fit various topics, including assertiveness, boundaries and vulnerability.

Quieting the Inner-Critic

Never feel good enough? Contrary to popular opinion, using a ‘tough-love’ approach rarely motivates us towards sustained change. In this workshop, learn to become aware of and let go of unhelpful judgments and expectations that are keeping you anxious and stuck, and learn new ways of responding to yourself that are more likely to get you where you want to go.

Emotion Regulation

Does the term ‘emotional rollercoaster’ sound familiar? This workshop teaches concrete strategies to find more emotional balance, access wanted emotions, decrease vulnerability and increase emotional resilience. If you’re feeling like your emotions are controlling you as opposed to the other way around, this workshop is for you.

Coping with COVID

COVID getting you down? I hear that… pandemic fatigue is real, and the toll of COVID has made most of us feel more isolated, vulnerable, and anxious than ever before. This workshop addresses the challenges of working from home, explores ways of staying connected to ourselves and loved ones, and highlights how we can care for ourselves during this time.
